Elizabeth Flegal, M.A., CCC-SLP, Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

I have enjoyed working with kids of all ages for as long as I can remember, teaching swim lessons and working at a local daycare through college. I am an Ohio native, which is where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at Miami University (Ohio). I then moved up north to attend Michigan State University for my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, where I met my husband. For the last 5 years, I have worked in outpatient pediatrics and have learned a lot about working with patients and their families to make therapy as functional as possible. I enjoy helping kiddos as young as 18 months learn to find their words, children and adolescents who stutter, and providing gestalt language processors with an effective means to use their language, using my certification credentials. I am an NLA Trained Clinician, having completed the coursework through Meaningful Speech.

On a personal note, I recently got married and enjoyed time eating our way through Italy. During my free time, I enjoy attending Michigan State football games (Go Green), reading a trending book, and traveling, especially to the lake in the summertime. My goal as a pediatric SLP is to help families achieve their goals and for children to be the most effective communicators they can be!
